Vehicle Fitments

This JDM SR20DE long block is a direct performance replacement or upgrade for:

  • 1991-2002 Infiniti G20 (P10/P11)

  • 1991-1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R (B13)

  • 1995-1998 Nissan 200SX SE-R (B14)

  • 1991-1993 Nissan NX2000

  • SR20 Swaps: Popular choice for Nissan Sentra B15 and various chassis conversions.

Installation & Technical Notes

The SR20DE is famous for its "plug-and-play" potential, but to ensure 100% USDM emissions and sensor compatibility, please follow these guidelines:

  • High Port vs. Low Port: Depending on the year of your vehicle, you may need to transfer your original USDM Intake Manifold and Throttle Body. (91-93 models typically use the High-Port design, while 94+ use the Low-Port design).

  • Sensor Transfer: You must transfer your original USDM Distributor, Water Temp Sensor, and Oil Pressure Sensor to ensure the plugs match your existing wiring harness perfectly.

  • EGR System: JDM engines do not typically come with EGR ports. To pass emissions in states like California, you must utilize your original USDM intake manifold and exhaust manifold to retain EGR functionality.

  • Essential Maintenance: We strongly recommend replacing the following parts while the engine is out:

    • Front & Rear Main Seals: Prevent future leaks for a few dollars now.

    • Water Pump: High-quality OE replacement (Aisin or Gates).

    • Spark Plugs: NGK BKR6E-11 (V-Power).

    • Engine Oil: 5W-30 or 10W-30 Full Synthetic.

  • Timing Chain: Unlike belt-driven engines, the SR20 uses a chain. Inspect the tensioner for wear, but replacement is usually not required unless high-mileage wear is present.
