Vehicle Fitment

This engine is a direct long block replacement for the following North American and International models:

• 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca (3.0L H6)

• 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca (3.0L H6)

Installation & Technical Notes

To ensure a successful installation and maintain your warranty, please review the following technical requirements:

• Long Block Transfer: This is sold as a JDM Long Block. You must transfer your original intake manifold, exhaust manifold, sensors, and wiring harness from your US-spec engine to this JDM unit to ensure ECU compatibility and emissions compliance.

• EGR System: Some JDM EZ30 engines may not have the same EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) ports as US models. Ensure your mechanic checks for these vacuum differences during the swap.

• Service Items: We highly recommend replacing the following "wear items" while the engine is out:

  • Water Pump and Thermostat

  • Spark Plugs (NGK Laser Platinum or Iridium)

  • Rear Main Seal

  • Front Crankshaft Seal

• Oil Grade: Use high-quality 5W-30 synthetic oil and an OEM Subaru oil filter.
